Ok, I just got back into town and thought I would post a question. What was your first job? Mine was working at Bob Evans for just a few months while I was in college. I hated it!!! Cheryl

Cutting grass, the summer I was 11, I made a whole $20 that summer and thought i was rich...lol First "REAL" paycheck job was at Lane Drug Co. as head cashier.

i babysat for years @50 cents /hour--first REAL job was at the pizza place in rocky river,ohio @1.25/hour! then a DQ..then...then...then...

Mine was cleaning houses when I was about 12, I don't remember what I was paid. I just remember having this crazy lady who made me clean the outside of her windows in the fall when it was pretty cold out, and she was standing inside pointing out all the places I missed! Kathy

Well I started doing dishes in a place where my mom worked and was paid 2.00 an hour i was 12 and i worked some long late hours i worked from 4 pm til 4am every friday and saturday night until i turned legal and went else where and got a job doing the same thing but i made 5.00 an hour there and i eventually got my momma a job there best thing that could have ever happened to her they cared about my momma and when she got so sick that she could not work anymore they gave us a place to live free of charge until right before she died to this day I can call on them for anything

My first job was babysitting when I was 10. I also cleaned peoples' houses, weeded their gardens, anything I could do to buy my clothes and things. Then when I was 15 I started waitressing in a chinese restaurant. I only worked in the job industry until I was 23 (my husband decided to keep me at home after that), but Iduring that time (8 yr period) I worked 10 different jobs. Most of the time I worked 3 jobs, about 16-18 hours a day. My wildest job was singing in nightclubs. ~~Jaimee

Hey, my first real job was at Bob Evans too. Waiting on tables was not a good thing for me. I made $1.65 an hour plus tips. Some nights I made a wooping $30.00. But I made a lot of good friends. Learned a lot of valuable lessons for life too.
