You are the second person I know of that this has happened to. Insurance companies contract with hospitals n drs separately. See if Dr C can get privileges

Jaimee, Don't give up just yet... The same happened to me, Dr C was in my network, but the hospital wasnt. I knew I wanted him to do my surgery.. NO acceptions.... So I got figures from Leslie and then called my insurance company. I told them the cost and explained to the situation to them. I got figures on what it would cost in network and out of network... GO FIGURE****** in network was only $250 dollars cheaper then my out of net work...I am not rich by far... however, the difference means nothing compared to getting the right Doctor. So get figures first and see exactly how much difference it is.. You might be surprised. : ) Good luck,, let me know what you find out Jackie
