PCP in Westerville or Worthington

PLEASE, can ANYONE give me any info regarding a PCP in either Westerville or Worthington who is sympathetic to the cause of WLS??? I am totally new to the Columbus area, having lived in Pittsburgh for 50 yrs, and recently moved here. I am not familiar at all with any PCP's and the first one I had, left her practice (she was sympathetic), so I tried another, and I get the feeling that she thinks if I would just KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT I could lose weight. My husband also went last night to get started on Meridia, and we got the same impression again!!! We were so-o ticked off last night, that I was going to get on the board and check for a new PCP then, but I probably would have had to "blep" a lot of my thoughts. I have had the sleep study (on C-PAP) now, had the psyche eval, and am 2 months into a 6-month "physician supervised" diet, but I just cannot go on with this woman any more. This entire process is driving me NUTS!!!! Also, does anyone have any info regarding the Lap-Band....I originally thought about the Roux-N-Y, but I think I would like a less invasive surgery. PLEASE, PLEASE help...anyone.

My PCP is in Westerville on Cleveland Ave. Dr. Cathy Griewe or Dr. Christine Adamcak. They are both so very sweet and understanding 614-898-5690. Good luck!

Beverly, My PCP is Ann Koval - 901-2273 - in Westerville. She was very supportive of my surgery - although I know she doesn't support weight loss drugs, like Meridia. She is super, though. You'll really like her. Tandi 246/179/?
