Hello all of you lovelies. Is everyone having a good day so far? My car had to go to the doctors. It is having wheel bering issues. $430 should cure it though. Im the mean time I am without wheels. ACK! My dear friend saved the day and hauled Mackenzie and I to the Downtown library. (Columbus has one of the best library systems in the country). We borrowed 10 videos, went to story time and had some good quality time bonding over espresso. HA! Anyway, my question of the day is: What is the best fictional book you have ever read? I would have to say my favorite is a trilogy (okay so its 3 books) written by Francine Rivers. 1. A voice in the Wind, 2. An Echo in the Darkness, 3. As sure as the Dawn. This author has spent so much time doing her research on the time period and the culture she is writing about in these novels I actually felt like I was there. It was a pretty awesome series. If you like to read, these are great. I literally couldn't put them down. Now it's your turn...BTW, I am doing this poll for purely selfish reasons (grin) I am needing some suggestions for my own winter reading. Hugs to you all, Jaimee

Jamiee I agree, the Cols. library system is awesome! I love spending time at the downtown location when I can find time. My favorite book is usually the one I just finished reading. I don't think I could pick out one all-time favorite. However, if you haven't already, you should read " The Five People you Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Abom ( I might not have the last name spelled right ). It's a charming story that will only take you one day to read, but it will change the way you look at life and death ! Happy Reading Nancy

It's hard to pick just one. I read constantly. Fiction would be "Forever Amber" an old book about the plague in England--romantic Real would be Death Be Not Proud--story of a 16 year olds ordeal with cancer. Another would be John Edward "Crossing Over"

I love to read and have many favorites, but I think my all time favorite is "Christy" by Catherine Marshall. It was on my reading list when I was in high school and I think I've probably re-read it a half dozen times since then. Mostly today, I seem to steer towards books that touch on issues of contemporary women -- some of my favorite current authors for this are Elizabeth Berg, Patricia Gaffney and Adriana Trigiano. For "beach bag" reading I love Jennifer Crusie and Janet Evanovich. Enjoy!

Hi! I think my two favorites to date are "The DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" both by Dan Brown....awesome, excellent books. I am currently reading his book "Deception Point". I don't usually go in for political novels but this one has me turning pages! Val

I forgot to list my other favorite series: Left behind by Tim La Haye and Jerry B. Jenkins. These are really gripping. Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond! ~~Jaimee
