eating to fast
I was thinking about why I seem to get sick at night/ I really think I eat to fast. To me being 7 weeks out I have learned everything except that.It is very hard to wait 3 minutes between each bite but believe me when I say get a timer. I am going to start tomorrow and see if that helps. We went to Fridays tonight and everyone told me I do. Just a little hint to the pre-ops.Learn from the very beginning. It is so important. I should have listened to Erin on that one. I hope that this helps someone,Cindy
Hey Cindy. Eating slowly is hard. Especially when its something we really like to eat. I sometimes get real excited, and than forget I had the surgery. I don't time my bites, but once the food is like mush in my mouth, I than swallow, and take another bite.
We missed you on Friday. Bertie is hoping to get you to come to a meeting again, only this time riding with her. She REALLY enjoyed the meeting Friday.
Have a great Sunday,
Sandy
eating too fast got me MO in part--i didn't stop when i was full! and now-eating too fast is still sometimes a problem! listen to sandy and those out farther than me--but we have to pay attention when we eat now! i had a piece of something the other day that i should have chewed more- it swallowed ok but then sat there for a bit ...not good!
when i talk at a meal; i also am not chewing as well--and for awhile , there were stresses at my dinner table before the kids moved out--that all adds up to discomfort....
it's a hard thing to learn...keep at it!!!!!
