Hi I had dr. Alexander at UC (does his surgeries at Christ hosp.) VERY HAPPY WITH HIM. Well it's time for a panniculectomy and he does them too (anchor incision). I'd like to know of those that have had a panniculectomy how many if any have had it performed by the same dr. that did their wls.?

Dr A is a great surgeon but what you need is someone who specializes in plastics. A lot of people in our group have gone to Dr butterfield. She is awesome.

Hey Miss Tracy. Wow has time flown by. I had Dr. Leadbetter with the Plastic Surgery Group for mine. He has offices on Redbank, and one in Crestview Kentucky. At one of my meetings we had Dr. Deborah Sillins, and she was great! A couple of my girls went there for their surgeries, and loved her. She is located in Ky.- Sandy Pierce

Dr. Jennifer Butterfield did my abdominoplasty about 3 weeks ago. She is part of UC Physicians and Surgeons and her office is in West Chester at University Point. I had my surgery at Jewish Hospital (treated very well, thank you!). I am very pleased with the results, even though I still have some swelling. She is just awesome. If she is in your insurance network, do think about seeing her. Dr. Alexander is a great surgeon (does a lot of renal transplants and then started doing gastric bypass.) I work with a woman who had Dr. Alexander remove her excess abdominal skin (about 1 lb.) She was happy with the results, but I preferred to have a plastic surgeon do my abdominoplasty. Dr. Butterfield repaired my 13 cm x 3 cm diastasis recti (separation of the upper abdominal muscles), repaired a small umbilical hernia and removed about 5-6 lbs of flab. I only had the hip to hip incision - nothing short of miraculous, in my opinion. I don't know how she did all that work on my upper abdomen - I was really worried about having that spare tire left above my waist, but it isn't there anymore! Like I said, Dr. Alexander is a really good surgeon, but I would see someone who specializes in the plastic and reconstructive work you want done. Just my $.02! Sue
