Plastic surgeons @ OSU

I am trying to find out who the plastic surgeons are up @ OSU Hospital. I want to see my pcp and have him give me a referral to one of the doctors up there. Anyone know who is up there? I have heard they are great with WLS folks. Karie

I don't really know about OSU, but I believe there is one at Riverside or maybe it's Mt. Carmel by the name of Bloom that is very good. By the way did you go to the support meeting at SPVMH?

Dr. Buchele is at OSU and does many of the post WLS patients. He speaks at the support meetings. I saw him before I got my job in Florida and I was very impressed...really wish my insurance would allow me to go back to Ohio for surgery. I will e-mail you his number.

Hey Karie! Another surgeon who is in with Buchele is Gayle Gordillo. She is great. Dr. Melvin referred her to me and I did see her and felt very comfortable with her. My only issue is my insurance of course. I was denied and it looks like I have about a snowballs chance in hell of getting it approved. However, she does a lot of gastric bypass patients. I have gotten nothing but great feedback about her. I think I would stick with either of those two. Val
