Do you have a favorite smell that evokes good memories or good times? I have many...the smell of powder makes me think of my baby (she is two now but she is still my baby!). The smell of fried chicken makes me think of my Grandma. The smell of polo cologne makes me think of love. The smell of coffee makes me think of my mom and the love of my life. Cheryl

I always have loved the smell of freshly cut grass in the spring. The smell of burning leaves in the fall. (those both were like annoucing the arrival of the two seasons) The smell of homemade sugar cookies or freshly baked bread bring back memories of my grandmother that lived with us growing up. The smell of coppertone suntan lotion reminds me of Florida when I was just a child cuz that's what mom put on me at the beach. You mentioned polo....Ohhhh the smell of polo.... well... we won't go there.. lol.. ;) Those are a few I can think of right now.. good question Cheryl !

The smell of fresh ground coffee and homemade bread. In Indiana they brewed hops in the morning. You could smell it all the way up to Cincinnati. The smell of fresh popped popcorn

I don't know the name of the cologne but my first "everything" used to wear it and then several years later I met a guy wearing it and I instantly felt all warm and mushy inside. Thanksgiving morning always had it's own scent and now that I don't live in the house where the cooking is done, it just seems weird not to wake up to the smell of turkey.

Believe it or not, DIRT! Fresh, musty, earthy dirt. I spent most of my weekends as a child at our recreational property in the North Cascades. (in Washington State) and that smell brings back some fond memories.

Carnations - I grew up next to a greenhouse, and back in the day they grew their own carnations. I used to go to the pile out back for the "rejects" and take a few of those to my Mom. Cloves/Cinnamon/Pumpkin Pie spice etc - I really love the smell. When I smell cloves mixed with an orange or apple I recall being at the overnight Girl Scout campout at the Old COSI. I love the Streets of Yesteryear and as a project we made those pomanders. Fresh cut evergreen trees. -Anne
