Can anyone recommend a protein drink they tried and liked ? I was told to start looking for one, so I could get some and have it on hand post-op. Suggestions, please.

Hi Nancy, If you go out to vitalady.com, there are a lot of different kinds of protein drink powders they offer. You can purchase a sample packet (1 drink) for $1.99. They have tons of samples to choose from. One of my favorite brands is ProPlete Gold (I like the banana creme and the pineapple). Also, Unjury has a great unflavored protein powder that can be added to pureed foods which has been a great help in getting added protein in -- you can check this out at unjury.com. Both sites specifically cater to bariatric patient needs. Good luck!

Thanks Diana ! I will check those out. I noticed the date of your surgery was quite recent. How are you doing ? Any regrets ? Any advice ? I am in the process of doing my pre-op stuff and hope to get a surgery date before the end of the year. Best Wishes

I think Vitalady offers Sci-Fit Whey Protein powder. My husband and I have both had WLS and like this protein powder. Even our 20 year old son drinks it. We mix it with water, he likes it in milk. Easy to get down - not too sweet, not gritty. Sue
