I was just wondering

I never really thought about anything like this but my daughter had it done in Feb and she looks so fantastic and after telling her that I did not think that I could do what she did. She said to me "Mom you have already been through worse" so that got me thinking about it and she was right. I started a new job that the insurance pays for it to have a notice sent out one day telling us that the insurance is no longer going to cover the surgery after Dec 31, 2004. Well that makes things difficult as all of you know, the process is not one that can be rushed. Now I have hit another hurdle, I find that the few that are in Columbus require at least 3 mo of documented diet that I do not have, I gave up on losing weight yrs ago when after yrs of losing then gaining back more than I lost. I resigned to being fat, now that I want to do this I find that time is a huge factor and I am not batting a thousand here. I have been denied by both programs in the Columbus area. I guess I am doomed to be fat. Sorry about babbling.

Sheila, How do things stand now? Are you still looking for another surgeon? Please don't give up. If any of us can help, we will. Just let us know what you need to get approved. Good luck at whatever you decide to do.
