Mount Vernon/Knox County Folks

Hi everyone! I am having a tough time tracking down a support group in my area...I am a newbie and really need some other folks to share this journey with me in person (although I love the on-line support here!!!) I know I could go to Newark or Mansfield, but travel time added in makes it complicated, and a late evening. At this point, I am thinking about hosting an informal support group at my home because I am a single mom who works full time, so it may be easiest to meet at my home than to worry about childcare (unless we can do a meeting time immediately after work). I live in Fredericktown, where are you located?? It would be nice to get to now someone else with the surgery close by! My friend had it but she never calls or comes over so I feel all alone!!!

Hi Ann! I know what you mean by feeling all alone! I live on the North side of Mount Vernon (just off of Route 13) and work at the Naz. I have been trying to get into a group of folks who work with me at the Naz who have had the surgery, but it has been a challenge. I really would love to get together!
