Need suggestions!!

I've been getting all my Paperwork together for WLS at St. Vincent Charity in Cleve. I feel like a race horse!! After the first of the year my insurance, Aetna, will not cover the surgery...... I have already been denied once by aetna because I haven't seen my pcp. for the whole 6 mo. I was going through thier 3 mo. plan.,thats what they denied. So its off the pcp in Sept. and Oct. and resubmit. After I resubmit in Oct. I only have 2 mos. to get an ok and have surgery. OR I can change Ins. co's at the end of the year. And if I change company's, will I get everything done in time cause St. Vincent's will only do the surgery up to 60 and I'll be 59 in Sept. What a mess.......Any good Ins. company's out there? Help......Judy

Judy, A great doctor here in Cincy, Dr. Curry, will operate on folks up to 60 I believe. I know it would be a drive for you, but well worth it. You know Dr. C from this board. Good luck, Sandy

HI I AM FROM NOTHERN OHIO. WARREN. AETNA TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT COVER MY SURGURY IN JULY OF 02. THIS TIME WE TOOK PICTURES AND SENT LETTERS AND THEY COVERED IT. DR. VANEK DID MY SURGURY AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER I HAVE LOST OVER 90LBS. BEST WISHES LINDA WILLIAMS
