large apron

i am currently waiting for a date to meet with my surgeon at osu-dr. muscarella. i have a large apron which seems to be dropping more everyday. i am very concerned that this problem will pull my incesion down & cause problems. has anyone ever had this problem? also, i keep getting an infection called cellulitis in the bottom of my stomach. has anyone ever dealt with this. i thank everyone for this website & being able to talk about real embarrassing problems like this. loretta j

Hi Loretta, I have not had this problem, however I have read a lot of post on the main message board about it. Make sure it gets documented at your PCP office, also when ever you have a flare up of the cellulitis make sure you take pictures of it. Or if you have a ra**** will help later on if try to submit to the insurance company for plastic surgery. Most insurance companies will cover plastic surgery if it is medically necessary. I have heard a lot of people talking about the pictures have help them with the fight for it, along with any time there was an infection, rash, cellulitis, or raw area in the folds of the skin. Not just in the apron area but anywhere on your body. I hope this will help. Also, you might want to most this question on the main message board and see what all information will be replied. I love coming to the Ohio board, but sometimes not to many people reply. I heard Amy Williams from the MTV show had cellulitis and it was very painful for her. I wish you well. Lisa
