Pre-op testing finally done!
Whooo! It wasn't as bad as I thought but the arterial blood gasses did hurt. Specially since he lost my artery and had to poke me 3 times. Ouch!I almost got sick! After leaving at 4:30 am I finally got home at 7 pm last nite. Talk about a long day. I will say one thing. The staff at Grandview Hospital are the nicest, friendliest, most supportive people I have ever met. Heck, the janitor even stopped mopping the floors to help me when I got lost! And I feel even more secure and confident in Dr. Bruce as my surgeon when the staff regarded him so highly. Monday it is back to Dayton to the clinic to get my pulmonary clearance and my surgery time. I can't wait! I am so excited!

My Primary wouldn't agree unless I went to OSU. He said they were very thorough and he didn't like the hurry up some of the doctors in Dayton did. Also, I wanted Lap Band (at the instance of my medical doctors.
My daughter works Cat Scan at Grandview Friday, Satuday, Sunday at night in ER.
If you wouldn't mind the company,I'd be glad to come see you.
Why did you decide on RNY vs Lapand?
I excited for both of us science we'll be on the losing side.
Let me know
Sandy
