Hello, my name is Kelly. I am pre-op with my surgeon consult on 8/16. So hopfully I will have my surgery next month at OSU. I live in Fayette County, half way between Columbus and Cincinnati ( I work in Columbus) I have 2 kids, 2 cats, 1 dog and 12 rabbits. The best thing this summer was vacationing in Virginia, going to the mountains and Williamsburg. Walking is tuff, carrying all this extra load. I am only 5'0 and 237#. I look forward to being able to hike next summer with my family. I will definately enjoy being able to cross my legs this time next year. I have enjoyed this site -- everyone is so supportive.

Kelly, Had to hijack to say that isn't Williamsburg great. Want to go back now since I can walk without pain anymore. Sounds like a great vacation.

Hi there! My name is Jan and I'm from northeast Ohio. It looks like I am the nightowl on the board tonight! I am pre-op, but am waiting for a date, hopefully in september. Will be having lap RNY at St. Vincents hospital. My top wt. was 280, but I am now at 255 and my goal is 140. Have been ill alot of the summmer, so I am looking toward the surgery and a new and healthier me! It's good to meet all of you! Jan
