Introductions--Roll Call--Sound Off
Hi Cheryl,
My name is Kathy and I live near Sandusky, Ohio. I am currently hoping to have the Lap Band. My weight is 274 or there about's! LOL would love to get down to 140, but would be happy with 160. I will be 51 on 8-27. I am married and I have 3 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren who I adore. My favorite thing to do in the summer is camp and swim in the pool. I can't wait to be able to swim somewhere other than my fenced in back yard! I also love spending time with my granchildren. It will be so great to be able to get down on the floor to play with them and not need help getting back up! Or to take a walk with them without getting short of breath or my legs hurting. I also used to love to dance but with this weight I can't do that for very long.
I love this site too. Everyone is so helpful and caring.
Congrats on your weight loss.
Kathy
Hi all. I am finally home from work and putting in my 2 cents. My name is Debbie and I live just outside Toledo in northwest OH. I had my surgery on April 13 and have lost 58 lbs. I have not felt this good since college. I am married and have 2 teenage boys. All men in my house . Was really glad to see that Ted responded. Where are all the men from Ohio who have had the surgery. Come on we know you are out there. Post So good to meet you all.
Hi Everyone,
I am a little late in posting since the roll call started this morning....
My name is Jennifer & I am preop & some of you will remember me from my posts battling Med Mutual.
I actually moved back (in Jan) to my hometown in Ohio which is in the Steubenville area. I haven't done anything interesting this year because as someone had already mentioned, I too, suffer from exhaustion & embarrasment. I am however, leaving this Friday for StoryBook Forest. I have a little guy who just turned 6 & will be headed for first grade in a very short time here (gawd, I tear up just at the thought!).
I have decided that I want to have the DS with Dr. Maguire at Kettering Ohio. My current weight is 254 UGH!!!! My poor little legs die everytime I stand up Hopefully, if insurance cooperates, I won't have to worry about that much longer & can start to enjoy life again!

My name is Jack. I have had two gastric bypasses and what I now know is a revision or at least a partial gastrectomy. I have lost 230 lbs and have been a member of OH since 1999. Shame about Detroit being cancelled. I could drive there. I will be coming to Toledo to see my Aunt sometime soon. I will also try to meet Margo and her family. Have a great day.
