Great turnout
Hi gang!
I just wanted to say, for those that attended the OSU support group, THANK YOU!! We had a wonderful turnout. It is so great to meet and talk to so many people, and put names with faces!
To my "lurker" friend, thanks for the words of encouragement. Don't be a total stranger, email me sometime! To Tammie and Diana and Annabanana, I am sooooo glad I got to meet you guys! Having a support system is so important!
So, lets keep it rolling gang and maybe we can just keep bringing people into the circle!
If anyone out there is still contemplating surgery we have an info session tomorrow night at OSU. You can call 614-293-2888 for all the details!
Many blessing to you all!
Valerie
Valerie,
It was just great to meet you. Was my first meeting, and I'll be adding that to my - already very long list - of reasons why OSU's program is so wonderful.
If anyone is thinking of going to the info session, I HIGHLY recommend it. You'll get to meet key people who are involved with the program, watch a very informative video and listen to a couple or three patients who have had the surgery. Definately worth your time.

I have a list of what all the topics are. I think I have it saved on my computer at work, but I will get it to you asap. They have professional speakers at each one, and very good topics. I might still have a hard copy around the house somewhere. Either way I will get it to you!
YEAH YEAH YEAH!! You will be on the other side soon!!!!! It is so normal to be anxious and nervous. You know you can get so much support here and through the folks at OSU!
Valerie, Darn I totally forgot about the info session, I recieved my papers in the mail this week and have almost finished them. Trying to remenber the yr and weight and age at the time of diets is a challenge being as how I am so old...lol...I have a hard time sometimes with yesterday let alone 30-40 yrs ago. Thank-you for all the info and the name you gave me. Hope to see you at the next one, oh by the way when is the next one?
