Help, I have a Insurance question.

I wanted to know if it's better to have your family Dr or a weight loss dr write your letter to the insurance company? Jen

I have Cigna PPO and my family doctor had to write my letter since he is the one who knows my background the *******so had my orthopedic dostor write a letter for me. All my WLS surgeons did was collect the info and fax it in for me and then tell me what else i needed.....Good Luck....Patty
