Hi, I am researching my options for WLS. I am very interested in the Lap band procedure. Looking for a Dr in my area. Dr Curry referred me to Dr Fegelman & Korelitz at Jewish hospital. Does it have to be lap band ? Dr Curry is a fabulous Dr. I have been researching Docs. for over a year. I almost went to W,Va and I am so happy I had it done by him. Its more like a family/ The rooms are great and all private and I was out in 2 days. Everyone treated me like a real human if you know what I mean. His staff is so great and I really think you would love him. I had my lap done 3 weeks ago and lost 25 lbs and feel great. I have not dumped and threw up maybe 3 times and a very little bit. Only because you have to lear your own pouch. It takes time . I went to the zoo at 2 weeks post and walked around for 3 hrs. I do curves 3 times a week. I have so much energy now. Hi Cindy, Dr Curry answered one of my postings. He gave me the name of Dr Fegelman/Korelitz. I was very touched. It was so nice of him to do that for me. Did you have your surgery Lap RNY? Hi, I'm from the east side of Cincinnati. I haven't had surgery (yet) but I've had all my initial consultation with Dr. Kerlakian. He does a hand-assist lap RNY. I'm waiting to hear from the insurance company. Good luck with your search. Miss Q
