Insurance ? for anyone

Has anyone had this surgery with the insurance threw Ohio Medicaid? If so, how did you go about getting them to pay for it?

Crystal, Medicaid does pay for WLS if you meet certain criteria. Basically your BMI has to be over 40 (in my experience high 40's at least) and you have to have at least one serious weight-related medical problem. I haven't had surgery yet, but I did just get approved through Ohio Medicaid, if you check out my profile near the bottom I did list some of the things I knew from my research that they wanted to see when applying for approval. Good Luck!
