Help with UHC PPO

Hi, In January my job will have United Health Care PPO. I am glad to getting rid of CIGNA. Has anyone had WLS with UNC PPO? Does anyone know what there requirements are besides mecially necessary? I wanted to find out if they require the Doctor supervised weight loss so I can go ahead and start now. Thanks for the Help Lisa

Hi Lisa, I have UHC and had my surgery in April. I did not have any trouble getting approved. The Barix Center took details about past attempts to loose weight and some basic physical information. I was approved before I got all of the tests that Barix required. Best of luck to you and keep us posted. If I can be of any more help please don't hesitate to ask. Deb
