Hey PJ!! I remember you asking if I was related to Dr. Curry! Took me a minute, "oldtimers" you know.... Here is sending "butterfly kisses" your way! I am so excited for you! Your life is going to be so wonderful! This last month will drag I am sure, but you will wake up the day of surgery and be amazed at how fast it went! Hey Dr. C! Nice to finally meet you! ( I didn't think we were.) When people ask me if I am related to this person or that, I have no clue. I got the name with my husband. Package deal, got a pretty good bargain on that one! I think it is awesome that you are online with your patients. I am an RN at OSU and I know how crazy busy docs are, so in my eyes that is just awesome!! I have been helping out with the Bariatric Department here. Do you know Brad Needleman or Scott Melvin? It's a small world after all. I think we have a really good team here. We have a new fellow (well, he isn't new to OSU) Dean Mikami. I like him too. He scrubbed with Dr. Melvin for my surgery. Although I work in OB Research, I have been doing a lot of teaching, and speaking at different classes trying to help people get prepared for the surgery and what to expect afterward. It sure has changed my life. I know we all can't thank our surgeons enough! Take care! Valerie
