Cincinnati Area Question

I am tryign to get all my papers together to start the approval process for insurance. Need names of nutristionist and someone for psych. eval. I have Anthem ins. and hoping they cover part of those. Anyone with Anthem that had ins. cover those visits to get approved?

Yes, mine were covered by going through Group Health Associates for both psych eval and nutritionist. As they were required by my surgeon, Anthem paid for it (but I had to stay on top of them re; the nutritionist).

I don't have a nutritionist yet...but I do have my psych eval next week and the Dr assures me he bills it so that it is covered. I asked because my anthem has an exclusion for any kind of weight loss program, (that can be appealed for med. necessity so I'm figting the good fight from the get go). The Dr I'm seeing is highly recommended from many in my area...if you feel like driving to Miamisburg/Dayton. His name is Dr. Jeff Wilbert. I've spoken with him a few times on the phone and am really impressed so far. he has a website... fattitudes.com. Hope that helps! Sheila K

In your Insurance book there are some names probably. I use Janet Bohne 513-389-5350 for nutritionist and David Katkin or even Western Hills COunseling Service 513-922-1660Good Luck
