OK I am only 6 weeks out, but for the last 2 weeks I have been at the same weight. I have read everyone elses response to this problem and was wondering if I am doing all the right things. I have been sick - sinus problems and the drainage is upsetting my pouch - but have it in some control. I have increased my protein intake and have upped my excersise some. I am writting down everything I put in my mouth - I am diabetic and some meds pose a problem with losing weight, but doc is monitoring. Is there anything else I can do or just ride out the storm?

Hello there I'm Erin Hurst Dr. C's Dietitian. Sometimes if you skip meals and aren't consuming enough protein you will hit a plateau. Skipping meals can actually slow down your metabolism. Are you at your protein level right now with the shakes?? Also a plateau is a normal thing that happens during weight loss. You're body is just getting adjusted to the changes it is going through. How much are you eating per meal??...cup wise?? Let me know and I'll try to crack this one! Erin
