Journey Progessing Well!!!

Hi Everyone!!! It's been a while since I posted to the board. Just want to update all of you... Completed my psych evaluation and was approved by the psychiatrist for surgery!!! Went to my first support group meeting and was amazed. I truly feel no matter what part of the process we are in we are wonderful special people. The courage I saw and experienced at the group meeting was awesome. I felt the love! I want everyone to know that all of you are included in my prayers and know you are never alone, I have your back and so does He!!!

Hello, Lucretia, and congratulations on completing another step on your journey. I'm at the very, very beginning of mine... will be attending a seminar Monday, and have an appointment with my PCP next week. I like what you said about each of us being special. I've had a very "down" day today. Feeling somewhat ashamed that I'm requiring surgery to lose this weight, rather than being able to just lose it with a diet. 99.9% of the time I know I've honestly tried everything and this is truly the only way to go for me, but today is just one of those... well.. .1% days, I guess. Hi ,Im Cindy, we all feel and felt the way you do. first,excitement,then why me, then you get approved and you are scared to death. The last week before I had it done was my hardest.You get through it ,and finally the day has come and its a whole new set of emotions. I had mine 8 days ago and I know I made the right decision. It has to be your decision and only yours. There is so much support on this sight you wont believe. Also [email protected] ...That is Sandy Pierces and she is a doll and always there to help.
