6 days out and I have more pain erveryday where the drainage tube is. I have to take pain meds every 4 hrs. and then I am semi ok for 2 hrs. In the middle of the night I cant move and my husband has to help me out of bed and It takes 15 minutes to get up. I am going to see DR. Curry at 11 tomorrow and hopefully the tube will come out. I usually have a high tolorance for pain but not this time. I still havent heard the results from the small tumor they found,I am sick about that too. I guess this is my depressing day and I needed to vent. I am still glad I had it done and I know I have the best Dr. so I will get through it,thanks to all, love.Cindy

OH Cindy it is normal to have bad days. You have had a major surgery and need to heal inside. Your body is going through a lot of changes and it just takes time. Be good to yourself. We are here for you. Vent all you want. It will get easier. You remain in my prayers. PJ

I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Keep in mind everyday you should start feeling a little bit better. Hopefully when you have the tube removed you will feel a lot better, I will say a prayer for you. So are you doing ok with eating and getting your water down? Lisa

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling bad today, Cindy. Hopefully this will pass soon. I haven't had my surgery, but I can't imagine having something like this and NOT having some bad days. So far you've been such an amazing trooper! I'll keep you in my prayers that this passes quickly and you get to feeling better real soon. You vent any time you want to! Sheila

Just think Cindy. A month from now, when I come onto the board tellin' you all that I'm feeling like crap, you can pipe up and tell me, "not to worry, it's normal to have bad days, and that I'll soon be feeling better." You WILL tell me that, won't you?
