dr mikami

has anyone had dr mikami at osu?

Hi Tammy! I work at OSU and I have met Dr. Mikami. He scrubbed in with Dr. Melvin on my surgery. I also know he has excellent credentials and is a really nice guy. He has been with OSU for about 7 years and is in his fellowship program right now working with Dr. Needleman. Just so you know I am 1 year post op, no complications! I would highly recommend him. Hi! I just had surgery with Dr. Mikami, and I cannot say enough great things about him! He was very nice during the pre-op appointment and took his time explaining everything to me and my husband. He also allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted. I think we were in his office about 2 hours for the pre-op appt. Also, he is a wonderful surgeon. I was kind of a "hard" case, as I had a previous abdominal surgery, and at my pre-op appointment, Dr. Mikami stated that he could not promise whether he would still be able to do it lap. However, he did do it lap, even though it was harder to do! If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! Jenny
