Anthem Senior Adantage?

I need help! I have Anthem Senior Advantage. I called to get information and the guy who answered sounded like a broken record. "This is considered cosmetic surgery and the pre-cert has to decide whether or not it's medically necessary." ~sigh~ I had attended a seminar and was given a list of questions to ask my insurance company. This guy wouldn't answer any of them! I know I had seen that some folks here had gotten approved by Anthem Senior. HOW? Did they have certain requirements regarding "x" number of months of "medically supervised weight loss program"? I would appreciate any and all information I can get about how to get approval with this company. I'm still searching for the right doctor/hospital, as I found out Jewish, which was where I attended the seminar, wasn't covered. The guy at Anthem was generous enough to tell me that Mercy, Bethesda and Good Samaritan are the covered hospitals. Thanks in advance. Sheila
