High BMI and LAP RNY?

Hi Everyone! I have a very high BMI of 70 and I was wondering if most surgeons in Ohio have weight limits on WLS and will I have to get OPEN RNY instead of Laparoscopic RNY? I would prefer lap for the faster healing time. Thank you! Lori

hi i was told that i was bordline line and my bmi is alittle under 52 but drs may be different it is best to ask your surgeon. and good luck in your travels
