Clothing Giveaway in Ohio only
I have several black bags now filled primarily with clothing sizes 26 -28 and 4X and 5X. There are sweaters, nice shirts and blouses, some nightshirts. I don't have the ambition to eBay them or even try to ship them anywhere, and I would rather someone nearby gets them who needs them than drop them off to Goodwill or something. Just seems weird to do that with clothes that have been an important part of my life (stupid, I know). They are in good shape, some only worn once or twice, some not worn at all (what was I thinking). I might eventually have a brand new winter coat from Catherine's also, I think. The tags are still on and I just never wore it - but I have to get it out and make sure I think it will be too big come October or November (it is hard to envision changes - always will be, I guess).
If I don't hear back from anyone, I will assume no one near me in Ohio is in need and get rid of them. I am willing to drive them to you if it's a reasonable distance or we can meet somewhere to exchange.
Peace,
Maryalice

Hi Mayalice,
I would be very interested in your the clothes you no longer can wear. I have just started my weight loss journey and presently am wearing the largest size one can order from a catolog.(like 32-34's) I was banded on June 18th of this year and am so glad to be on the losing side. So the size you have will be coming in handy really soon for me I hope. I live in Holland which is very near you, and am willing to pick them up from you. Also, if there are items I can not use, or ones they are too large for me too, I will pass them along to a homeless shelter that my church feed breakfast for one a month if that's ok with you. I have donated some of my old clothes to them already, and will continue to as I lose my weight. I look forward to hearing back from you. I will send u a email with my email address in it. Thanks, and best wishes to you as you continue on your jouney. Cindy
HI Maryalice, What a great idea about trading clothes close to home. I am not in need of the clothes myself, but I think it is a great idea and keep it in mind. When I recognized your picture from the support group I just had to post and say hello and how are you doing? See you in a couple of weeks. Deb
hi to you! that is a great idea to try to get someone locally --i haven't been able to give up much yet but have had some family members needing articles that i have given up....
and you need to have faith! you are losing and it just takes time!
hi to you and to deb and cindy!!!!hope you all got my letter????
Maryalice, I would be interested in your clothes if you still have them. I will be entering that size range very soon. My rny was 3-10-04 and I have lost over 100 lbs and my clothes are a joke. Please email me if you want me to pick them up. I live in Maumee. My email is [email protected]. Either way, it was kind of you to make the offer. Hope to hear from you soon. Patti B.
