MMO coverage

Hi there! Hope someone out there can answer my question. I read a message on the CCBS board last night. It said that as of July 1st 2004 there will be no more WLS coverage for those with MMO. I am in the process of getting approved and would hate to get approval and then have no coverage I have MMO SUPERMED (Acordia National). Does anyone know about this? Any info would be appreciated! It all depends on YOUR companies policy. Some companies are not covering any WLS. Others are putting a $10,000 cap on how much MMO will pay. I have MMO also and with our company there were/are no changes coming up. If the paper work is in at MMO before 7-1-04 they have to cover you under the old policy. Can anyone shed more light on this or direct me to where I can read more about this? Which MMO plans are affected? My hubby qualifies for MMO on August 1, but I am not sure when the company's renewal time is. I dont have a policy number, so its not as if I can just call MMO and ask, and I couldn't find much info on their website. Thanks in advance, Angela
