How do I go about getting approved if my insurance company has a written EXCLUSION policy? Can someone please offer to be my guide through this! I need help so that I can get this surgery date set up and paid for so I can go on living my healthy dream again!!! Thanks for listening! Love you all and thanks for your support!

Do you have any co-morbidies? It would be a tough fight since your BMI is not 40 and you haven't been obese for that many years. I know some places make you show that you have been morbidly obese for at least the past 5 years. Just make sure what ever other attempts you have made to lose weight are documented, most insurances and some surgeon's require proof that you have made attempts in the past. Best wishes.
