5 days post-op...

Well, I am very happy to report that I had no complications during my open RNY last week! Woohoo! I am back at home and finding myself already hooked to The Young and the Restless. My belly feels kind of tight, and I assume that this is normal. The incision looks great, although a little crooked but that certainly doesn't bother me! Thanks to all of you for the nice notes you sent me via email...it's so great to belong to such a great family of supporters! Amy

Amy, I'm so happy that everything went well. I came by the store to see you on the 9th, but they said you left at 2pm that day. Hi Amy, Glad to see you made it through with no problems! I was in the store on the 2nd but you weren't scheduled in until 2:00. I had open and yes the tight feeling is something I experienced. I was very surprised by it because I didn't realize how much I needed those muscles to do common things. But after making myself move things got better. Wishing you all the best! Sarah
