looking 4 PCP in Cleveland

I am scheduled for surgery 6/8 an I will need a PCP after all of this - currently my Endo Doc handles everything. Can anyone suggest a Doctor? I am looking for a WLS friendly PCP. I have had a hard time in the past finding a Dr that I like. I am a straight forward type of person and I can't stand Dr's that beat around the bush when treating their patients nor do I want to feel like a number. If any one has any suggestions I would be greatful. I work in the N Randall area, but live about 40 miles away, so I would like a Dr in the area close to the freeway, Beachwood? Thanks in advance.

My doctor is in Willoughby Hills. Her name is Dr Mosad she is a Cleveland CLinic doctor. She is very nice and even recommended I have the surgery. SHe also filled out additional paperword for my Insurance company regarding pre-existing condition. The number to the Willoughby Center is 440-943-2500.

Hi there, I live in Streetsboro and I see a Dr. Phillip Kennedy. While I am fairly new to his practice, he is very supportive of bariatric surgery. I met him throught a lady on this site who had wls last year. She highly recommended him and his physicians assistant. I don't have the number right now but if you email me I can get it to you.

Hi Debby, I guess it depends on who your ins carrier is, whether the PCP you choose is on the plan or not. That said, mine is Dr. Keith Byers at the intersection of SOM and Rt. 6. He is very sweet, mild mannered, soft spoken and in favor of WLS. He recommended I do it, and gave me some refs to check out. I have Med Mut.of Ohio and he's on my plan, so I only have to pay him $15 an office visit. Pamela
