Just getting started

Hello everyone, it has been a while since I last posted. I finally just got started getting everything in order for my surgery. I have the long road of a six month evaluation with my PCP, who says that this is classified a medical necessity. My blood pressure and cholesteral was high so she had to put me on meds. I have a seminar coming up on May 28th, with The Wish Center. (if anyone has had any experience with this center please let me know) I feel like my head is spinning not knowing which way to turn. I am a little excited but scared at the same time that things are finally moving along. Good Luck to all.

Julia, Who told you about a 6 month evaluation? I also have Anthem BC/BS (my husband works at Delphi) and I was told that they approve pretty quickly. I "only" have to have a letter from my pcp, a phsyc evaluation and a trip to the dietician...all of my appointments are already scheduled! I am trying to have surgery through New Life Surgery - Dr. Maguire at Kettering Memorial. Keep me posted!
