PKI was GREAT!!!!
I had a GREAT time. It started when I could walk through the turnstile at the front gate and didn't need to walk through the wheel chair entrance (because of size). Then things got better and better. I am a nursing instructor at a tech school in the Dayton area and had a student tell me he could not ride a few rides because of the design of seats and his size. Well I rode everything there from Flight of Fear to The Beast and Son of Beast, Dilerium, and Top Gun, the Racers and Vortex, as well as the scrambler and Shake Rattle and Roll. Eating was no problem I had Bubba Gump Shrimp coctail for dinner and Sky Line chillie dog for lunch. Through out the day I had an Atkins bar and a few backs of crackers. The staff at PKI are great they will give you free a small cup of water so getting in H2O was no problem eaither. We were there from 10:00 am til it started to rain at 10:00 pm and my baby girl said I was wearing her out and she wanted to go home. I was still wanting to GO and ride the Beast a few more times.....LOL I actually had more energy at 37 than she did at 11....LOL
Glad you had such a good time. Obviously the part wasn't too crowded if you were able to ride all those rides. I kinda tell myself I want to be able to ride all those rides...and while it will be nice to know I could ride those ride, I have to face the reality that the Beastie scares the crap out of me...I had to close my eyes on the first hill! So it will be nice when I can enjoy KI again but not so sure I'll be brave enough to try all the rides.
I have new pix from yesterdays excursion to PKI. I fit in every ride and I even fit to go through the turnstile instead of the wheel chair entrance!!!Yeah ME!!!!! Oh well thought I would tell you about my new picture of me and my baby girl NOW 11 years old at PKI math/science day....Also the pix are under Just4Fun on my web sight
