Well I posted before on my 7 year old daughter Courtney, beautiful red headed, bubbley, happy little girl. She was diagnosed with severe osteo perosis and I just wanted to update for those of you *****ad and worried.....(thanks) She saw her new severe bone specialist and he ran tests to find the cause of the low bone density. (They will not be able to treat without the cause) They are testing for liver and/or kidney diseases, diabetes, 2 forms of cancer and I can not remember what else.......He expects and I hope these tests will all come back normal and then he will do a skin graph type test for osteogenesis imperfecta which he thinks it is...he is baffled because she would be the first generation which I guess is rare.....leave it to her.....lol anyway he said that is what we want it to be because it is the easiest to treat and we can prevent it from being passed to her children. I should know in two weeks the results of those tests....and then go from there. When we get the cause she will start her treatments and he said it will only take about a year for her bone density to come back to healthy. Well that is all I know for now let you know more later. Prayers

Wow Kimberly you are going through a lot right now. I am so sorry to read about your daughter. I didn't know that. I am wishing you all the best and you are in my prayers that it is the osteogenesis imperfecta or something less severe. Take care. PJ wfad

Kim I wish you and ur little girl the best. She will be in my thoughts through out the day and the best thing to do is to take each day as it comes as a challenge to make and to keep each other smiling and enjoying life. As for all of us who moans and groans for being obesite and the pain we are suffering and insurrance problems this is nothing. But to have or seeing a young child sick is more serious. I wishing for the best for you and ur child. Daniel

Kimberly. I am so sorry about your daughter but the news sounds encouraging. All hopes, wishes, and prayers are directed to her. As a Mom I know how stressful it is when you kids are sick. Know that you have many friends and lots of support to help you through it.
