How Do I Get Rid Of The Flab????
I am 10 months post-op and have lost 113#'s. I feel great, I am noticing a problem with feeling full, but I am aware of it so I am trying to control it more. But my problem is I started working out at one month post-op and then after about 6 months, I had to stop due to blood pressure problems and feeling as though I was going to pass out. I am now cleared to start up with my exercising, but I need to find some where or some one to pick their brain about weight training or what I can do to minimize the flab under my arms, hips, upper legs (buttocks area)? If anyone can help me find the information I would greatly appreciate it, I need some direction on this one. Our community has some fitness centers but it costs an arm and a leg to join. I want to really try to do this on my own. I walk 1.5 every day, abs every other day and just started light weights about 2 weeks ago. I hope I will be able to help the next person that has this problem. Thanks to All, God Bless! A. Stahl

I haven't been banded yet but I have a knee that needs replaced and still needed to exercise to lose that 15% required by OSU. I chose water aerobics. If you have a Y, check it out. I go four nights a week for an hour and it is wonderful. I do the exercises that don't bother my knee and if they do I just repeat some of the ones that don't hurt it.
At our Y, you can join at (21 a month and go as often as you like) or buy a ticket. They have one available for 26 visits for $55 and it never expires. Water aerobics is the safest because the water takes the weight. The deeper the water the more intense your workout.
Hope this helps.

Only a certain amount of flab will tone up no mater how much exercise you do. Walking will help. Also take some plastic milk jugs and fill them with water and do curls with them. Or add sand. There are bunch of exercises that can be done with home made weights and without trips to the gym.
I am exploring using duct tape to wrap all the excess skin up
