Hi y'all I'm a fighter and a victim of being turn down by my inssurance. they will come up with anything to not to cover this surgery. My health will inprove if I loose weight. Myself and most likely all of yous that been turn down has medical reasons to have this surgery Inssurrance do not look at it in that point of view. Morbibe Obesity has taken the life of one love one from me but it will not beat me. We all need to fight the system So here is one attempt to go and I'm doing it now!!!! hey dan, write a letter to your insurance company and send pictures of you having a good life with the fat in the way! sometimes it helps if they can see that you are more than just a number. never let the think you are a mental case and always tell them them that you are mentally prepared for this drastic change in your life . email me for more help if needed and visit my profile ( michael Williams -east cleveland-post op.) I lost 285lbs!

Rynae Why were you decline? for what reasons may I ask? still file complaint to The State Board of Insurance. Do you have any of this in writiing on when you were approved? Go after your insurrance company with the state, your Primary care Doctor, your Employer. This is not fair. I was told with just a letter from a lawyer stating your case may help.. This sight from the state, that I posted will take your information and complaint and they state will get back with you with a case number and then they do the investication on our situation. Please hang in there. Back in December 2003 I was approved by United Health Care and then recieved a phone call that a terriable mistake was made. My Company Policy excluded coverage, and that an employee from UHC was new and made the wrong call. A week after this as I was fighting and file my complaint with the state, my place of work was sold and the new company was going to change the inssurance policy on January 1, 2004. I was approved and then refuse, due to UHC employee error, cause the policy had an exclusion on treatments for Morb. Obesity. I had the approvial and everything that has happen all documented, I had a case, and if I would have gotten a lawyer I most llikely have won this case. But with new owners taken over my place of work I was advise not to fight. So I know for a fact it is stressfull and being unhealthy,in pain and sick all the time, I just can't quite I a fighter.. And as a dumb middle age Kentuckian I am a firm believer that all of us need to be heard and to fight our cases. I encourage for you and everyone to write to ur state rep. As I was told by my two inssurnace companies that I dealt with over this past year that Obesity is a lifestyle choice. THAT IS WRONG!!!! If and whenever I get this surgery done and I told my boss {most likely will die on the table from all the stress} I will continue to fight for everyone else who is suffering from Morb. Obesity. Please fight for it. Don't give up and keep me posted {[email protected]} I CARE!!! Daniel
