IDIOTS=SUMMACARE REPS !!!!
OOOOHHHHH!! I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW I COULD SCREAM !!
I just got thru talking to SummaCare (twice!) I wanted to know what EXACTLY they needed the doctor to have written down for acceptable documentation of a supervised diet...well, the first person told me she COULDN'T give me that info! " It isn't for you to know! your doctor has to call in and request the information." I couldn't believe it! All I wanted was a simple answer--I don't think it is that hard to tell someone what needs to be done... am I crazy?? Well, after talking to this "wonderfully helpful" (just a LITTLE sarcastic..lol) woman, I called right back and talked to another person...she was a little more helpful...she said that the 6 month supervised diet has to incoporate behavior modification,physical activity and counseling with a dietician. I told her that my my PCP is my dietitician and has me on a diabetic weight loss program (1,000-1,200 calories a day), but she could not tell me what is needed for behavior modification, what THEY consider it to be...! I just feel that they are intentionally trying to frustrate me with not being able to get a straight answer...they don't seem to know their as*'s from a hole in the ground! But, you can sure bet if one of them needed WLS, they sure wouldn't give them this doodie! I think that the "customer service"...lol..that's a good one! reps should be called DIMWIT REPS! cause' they sure don't know the meaning of customer service...
