Looking for a good Bariatric Surgeon in the Cleveland, Lorain, Elyria area...
Hello to the Ohio Board!
I am looking for a good Bariatric Surgeon in the Cleveland, Lorain and Elyria area for my sister who may be interested in obtaining more info about Bariatric surgery.
Word of mouth plays an important part and if you all can help me, please give me a couple of names and locations of surgeons, bariatric centers, and the like. Links to websites for the above mentioned areas would be nice.
I thank you all in advance.
Kym
Hello Kym,
There are quite a few hospitals in Cleveland that perform Bariatric surgery, but when I was looking into WLS, I immediately looked into the Cleveland Center for Bariatric Surgery at St Vincent Charity Hospital. They have 4 wonderful, experienced surgeons on staff and I have only heard good things about St Vincents..and they are well know for their Bariatric program......My surgery date is coming up on April 23, 2004 and I am getting excited and nervous. Good luck on your search.
Below is the link to their website:

I pray that you have a speedy recovery and a healthier life with your WLS. I have my surgery April 26th and am excited about a healtier life.
Thanks again for your response!

Kym,
I know of an excellent surgeon in the Cincinnati area. Here is his link www.newyourealyou.com . If I were in the same shoes, I would travel the extra miles to come and see him.
Please wish your sister luck for me.
I have a WLS Website that might be helpful to you and your sister. The link for that is imnotfatanymore.com. Just put the friendly www's in front of it. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you.
