Hello, Each policy is different. You should call MMO to see what yours covers. Some have a $10,000 cap on WLS, other policies do not. You will need a 5 year weight history from your doctor, a letter of medical neccesaity from your doctor or surgeon, a physc.evaluation, and a BMI of 40 or more or be at least 100 over your ideal weight. Good Luck, Robin W

Amy, You better call them and see if they cover the surgery or st. vincents wont even talk to you if your insurace does not cover it. The progam at university hospital of cleveland will get you in for a concaltation to see if you are right for surgury. I sugest you check out dr. stellato. Pattie

St. Vincent's is wonderful. I suggest you go to their web site at svch.net for further information. There is a monthly "if your interested" meeting that will give you all the info you need or you can call them and they will mail out an information packet to you. Yes, they do take Medical Mutual. I have MM Super Med+ and will be having the surgery in July. Best of luck to you.
