Anyone out there with Aetna Ins through Honda in the past year????

I have had my initial consult and got a letter informing me that Aetna in this past year has a policy requiring that I (1) provide a 5 year weight history through medical charts and (2) medical records documenting diets you have tried in the past 2 years. At least one attempt must be 2 YEARS IN LENGTH (this is required by Honda. They will not allow the procedure without a continuous 2 year medically supervised diet attempt documented in the medical record) That means that I must have been on a medically supervised diet the last 2 years before they would even consider it. Or will have to start one and be on it for the next 2 years!! That to me is virtually impossible. How many people would have really done that? Has anyone reading this had WLS and been covered by Honda/Aetna Ins in this past year? The lady at the Bariatric Treatment Center insurence dept said that since I have only the first part of the requirements that I would probably get denied but would forward my info to their lawyer so he can draft an appeal letter. I am discouraged at this point and was really praying for an end to this weight/health battle! Any help and/or encourgement would be appreciated.
