who's best

Hi, I am just starting to look into the surgery. I am in between Columbus and Cincinnati. My insurance works in network with OSU while the others in Columbus are out of network so I would pay more. I haven't yet checked out Cincinnati yet. Who would you recommend over the other even if insurance doesn't matter? thanks

I think most people will tell you their surgeon is best. We have some excellent surgeons here in Cincinnati. Mine was Dr Moreira. I had no complications at all. I invite you to post this question on our website www.wlsbutterflynetwork.org. We have people from both Columbus and Cincinnati posting and I am sure you can some answers there too.

Hi Karlena,you have joined the best websites for information.My suggestion is research,research,research.I started out with bariatric treatment ctr in Groveport found the facility and staff very good;but my insurance changed and I discovered Dr Needleman w/OSU,(personal opinion) surgeon great/hospitol less desirable. Now I have appt/with Dr. Hess at Bowling Green ,10/6/03. The hospitol is in net w/ins but surgeon is out of network.There is excellent resources in the Cinncinnati area so it comes down to maybe area choice for you. Let me know if I can help.,

If you start looking in the Cincinnati area, be aware that some of the surgeons in the Health Alliance already have surgeries booked to the end of the year, so be prepared for a wait!
