Thrilled and Terrified

I received my date today for my surgery, I am so happy and scared at the same time. It is like the reality that iInally will have the help I need is starting to set in. Does everyone feel the excitment and yet the fear at the same time? December 22 is the date I have for surgery and it will be the best Christmas gift I have gotten in a long time.

I know that feeling. I spoke with Anne at Dr. Martin's office today. I see the doc Oct.2 and surgery is Oct. 6th! I am thrilled, scared, and excited! But....so ready!

Both you girls are going to do just great! Make sure you follow dr's orders, get off the caffine NOW and walk, walk, walk, and sip, sip, sip.

I know how you feel also. I just received my surgery date yesterday and it will be November 12th. I too, feel so excited and anxious yet a little scared. I really am ready for it but like you reality really set in after I received my date. We are going to do fine if we do as the one who posted a message said. Now is the time to start making all of those changes and develope better eating habits....haven't had soda pop since January and really do not miss it. We can do it, just keep your eyes on the prize!!!!
