my pcp is evil!

Well, I went to see my family doctor for the referral form or whatever letter they want for this procedure. We talked about it all and she agreed that I need to loose weight and that I am healthy enough but she would not say that I should or should not have the surgery. And when I asked her to send a letter to my surgeon she told me that she does not do paperwork or write letters! Rude! Her name is Diane Dolensky. The surgeons office felt whatever she would fax would probably be sufficent. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Aubrey

That sucks!! I asked my pcp what her opinion was about the surgery and she said a few of her patients had done very well with it. She was all for it, but I didn't ask her for a letter. I used Bariatric in Columbus and they sent a letter of necessity to the insurance company. I hope you get everything you need to get approved!!! jessi
