Information
Hi, I am new to the site. I live in Loveland and I have been researching the surgery for some time now. The more I read the more excited I get about my opportunity to lose weight and yet I am terrified by some of the stories I read. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or perhaps some information on books, magazines or websites I could use to obtain information. Thank you!
Heather I just wanted to let you know of a support group in Cincinnat called Midwest Losers. Our next support meeting is this coming Friday July 11th at 7pm at Mercy Anderson Hospital. Please check our web site for more information. Hope to see you there. www.imnotfatanymore.com
Hi Heather,
A good book is:A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OBESITY SURGERY by Bryan G. Wookward--www.obesitysurgerybook.com . Also check out the store on this site for the informational book Obesity Help has published. Monica
Heather, I have found some of the best information comes from the experiences of the patients themselves. I just click on their names and read their stories on their profiles. Some people are VERY detailed offering every step they took from start to present. Personally, after studying and understanding exactly what the surgery is about I wanted to hear others personal experiences so I could have a better feel for what I was or could possibly be in store for. Good Luck to you
