Does someone have a good plastic surgeon that will work with you on insurance approval? I need a revision of my stomach and love handles. Have a lot of scare damage that is unbearable for me. I also need my breast done. I appreciate all the referral s given. Thanks

I used Dr Gupta in Toledo...which I see is a little far for you.  He specialized in patients who have been obese.  Formerly heavy patients have a thinner skin and issues with healing, so I appreciated the fact that he knew before hand that my tummytuck might require different handling.  (He also is trained to place the lapband, which was important to me incase the port needed to be repositioned.)

And he is a hottie too...LOL

I had an abdominoplasty w/ Dr V on March 3.  Very pleased w/ the results.  The scar looks better all the time and the swelling for the most part seems to be gone.  It takes a long time to see final results; Dr V says the complaint department doesn't even open for three months.

I did fine as an outpatient.  I think that's pretty standard.  Maybe you have to stay overnight if you have multiple procedures.  One consult I had wanted to do a complete LBL and that would have required one overnight stay.

Saw Dr V a week later for drain removal.

I am going to have my arms done in 2012.

I think you'll be happy both w/ Dr V and his staff.

He did a presentation at our support group on Tuesday.
What blows my mind is that it is all outpatient!!!
I am having a septoplasty next month and my doc insists it will be inpatient. The good news is that my insurance approved it.
Not so sure I would want to be outpatient with plastics but I have a way to go before I worry about that. Need to start documenting.

Consulted w/ him today.  Pleased w/ the meeting and the price -- comparable to surgeon in Mexico I was considering.  And it's outpatient!
