OK Dayton Lurkers, where are you!
Can you tell me when and where these meetings are? I really need them and I don't know about any of these. should I call Dr. Rita's office or can you tell me. I was just there to see her today and I should have asked. I have gained some weight and really need to get back on track. I am three years out and it's not going to be easy. I should have gotten involved with the groups earlier, but my hours at work are crazy! That will change in early June, so I'd like to get started. Please let me know. I surely appreciate it. Thanks, Deb
The meetings at Kettering Hospital are in the Doctors building on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m, in Dr. Rita Anderson's office, second floor. All are welcome.
the WLS meetings on Whipp Road are on the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at
1956 E. Whipp Road, Kettering, Ohio. Everyone is welcome.
Like Tony said the meeting at Dr. Anderson's office are more of an open discussion, meet and greet, social event. Dr. Anderson's staff is there to answer questions and it is a lot of fun.
the meetings on Whipp Road are more structored, in that they have a monthly topic which is presented by either one of the bariatric nurses, the psych, nutritionist or exercise physiologist.
There is still plenty of socialising and it is a lot of fun as well as very informational.
Many people, many different surgeons, many different WLS types.
