I agree about going back to basics... protein, protein, protein. I would check with your doctor or nutritionist about how many carbs you should have per day, though, and then keep track of how many you take in. Most doctors seem to recommendkeeping it under 100g per day (which is much higher than the 10g per meal the previous poster mentioned). Try to limit the carbs to the good carbs... fruits, dairy, etc rather than "white" carbs.
